Batman Begins and The Godfather from EA

August 10th, 2004 (12:00am) - GameCube Advanced has revealed that the Electronic Arts is currently in development with two games, one based on the upcoming Dark Knight film and the other based on a classic mobster trilogy, Batman Begins and The Godfather.

Batman Begins is based on the upcoming Dark Knight film of the same name. The game is action adventure that features a plot that follows closely to that of the movie. In Batman Begins it can also be expected to encounter gameplay that not only focuses on action but as well as well stealth. The game is expected to be available for all home platforms when it is released by side with the movie in Summer 2005.

The Godfather has been rumored to be in development for quite some time, and is expected to be the first ever EA game to feature a “Mature” rating. GCA’s report confirms that the game will indeed be EA’s take on Grand Theft Auto and despite his recent passing, Marlin Brando’s voice-work will be featured in the game (voice recording was finished prior to his passing). A release date has not been announced, nor have the platforms on which the game will appear on.
