NeoPong Software Unveils Project DA for the Nintendo DS
 August 30th, 2004 (12:00am) - NeoPong Software, the developer behind the upcoming space shooter World Reborn for the Game Boy Advance, has unveiled that they’re currently in development with the tentatively titled RPG Project DA exclusively for the Nintendo DS.
Project DA stars Tat, a boy with a mysterious power, and Valin, one with a mysterious past. These two are the best of friends and they’re setting out on a journey to learn the truth about themselves. What they find are times of high adventure, the friendship of a couple of lovely ladies (Althea and Pias), and, of course, the dark and terrible truth about… something which has yet to be disclosed (hah!). NeoPong is promising that Project DA won’t be some cutesy game featuring furry animals and big-eyed gnomes. No. While there will be times of joy, there will also be times of sadness. People will die. Sacrifices will be made. According to NeoPong, “Project DA is about real adventure and real heroism!” Game Features: Class system: Diverse class advancement maintains each character’s unique personality and strengths while allowing customization. With multiple classes per character and unique skills in each class you’ll have a different gaming experience every time you play.
Enchantments: Cast magic on items to expand upon their capabilities. Create new weapons and armor with vast amounts of power at your whim.
Immersive story: Enjoy a story written for an older audience. Live through the trials, love, betrayals and ultimate glory.
Battle system: Battles flow at a quick and exciting pace without overwhelming you. Customize your party formation to suit your playing style.
Soundtrack: Thrilling and emotional music pulls you into the experience.
Side-quests: Optional quests reward exploration and grants more replayability.
And much more... At the current moment, Project DA does not have a publisher, but NeoPong is hoping to have the game finished and ready for release sometime next year.
