Get On Da Mic Screenshots for the PlayStation 2; Does a GameCube Version Even Exist?

September 9th, 2004 (12:00am) - Eidos Interactive has released ten new screenshots for their upcoming hip-hop karaoke game Get On Da Mic. These screenshots are from the PlayStation 2 version of the game which is scheduled for release mid October, although, the PS2 version may be the only version in development.

While a GameCube version was said to be in development and scheduled for release later this year, Eidos’ newly opened official site for the game doesn’t mention the existence of a GameCube version of the game anywhere, nor do any online videogame retailers. After taking into consideration that Eidos had dropped all GameCube support almost two years ago, this release seems less likely to happen. Additionally, initial reports on the existence of the GameCube version mentioned that XS Games had been the publisher and developer of the game. Not only are they not publishing the game, but a developer by the name of Artificial Mind and Movement is actually developing the title.

We’ll keep you posted with forthcoming updates…
