Sony and Nintendo Holding Conferences Today
September 20th, 2004 (12:00am) - According to Bloomberg, Sony may use a press conference today and a following videogame show on Friday in order to reveal details on when the company will begin to sell its PlayStation Portable game machine. It’s also a possibility that the price point of portable will also be revealed. As for Nintendo, they will hold a teleconference this morning at approx. 11:00am Eastern time with Nintendo of America representatives Reggie Fils-Aime, George Harrison, and Perrin Kaplan. At the current time, no details are available on what this conference may be about, but common sense is leaning towards the unveiling of a possible Nintendo DS price point and launch date.
