Confirmed Japanese Release Date for Snake Eater
 September 22nd, 2004 (12:00am) - Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be released in Japan on December 16th. The game will be available in two forms, as a standalone game and as well as a limited edition package that includes two special edition booklets, a DVD bonus, and a 1/144-scale action figure of Solid Snake. The standalone game will cost 6,980 yen (approx. $65) while the limited edition set will retail for 12,800 yen (approx. $115).
More details on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are expected to be unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show in two days. Snake Eater is scheduled for release on November 15th, 2004 in North America.
