"SEGA development has created a game with a distinct hand-drawn look that will resonate with anime enthusiasts and fans of the Shining series,: said Scott Steinberg, Vice President of Entertainment Marketing, SEGA of America. "The games Dual Battle System, which allows a player to control two party members simultaneously, adds a layer of strategy that Shining Force veterans in particular will appreciate. " In addition to that, there will be an unspecified co-op mode in the game. However Sega has revealed details about the story, which follows a young adventurer who lost his memory, and gets caught up in a destructive kingdom-wide war. Searching for two magical rings of power, the hero meets up with characters and monsters that have been made popular by previous Shining games with fifty hours of gameplay and eight unique endings.
