Jesper Kyd Remixes Songs for DDR: Ultramix 2
September 27th, 2004 (12:00am) - Jesper Kyd, the famous Danish game specializing electronic music artist and composer, has announced that he will be producing new tracks and composing remixes for Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution: Ultramix 2, which will see a release exclusively on the Xbox this November. Kyd’s featured dance tracks include "Istanbul Café," "Red Room" and "59 (Kyd Konami Mix)."
Dance Dance Revolution: Ultramix 2 combines fun, excitement, competition, choreography and physical interaction into one game. By accessing the enhanced Xbox Live support, players can compete head-to-head with other dancers nationwide, conduct online tournaments, upload content and download new songs, steps and characters. Also boasting a bigger music library than ever before, DDR: Ultramix 2. Kyd’s electronic music album releases include Hitman: Contracts, Freedom Fighters, Brute Force and The Nations. Earlier this year he performed new original electronica tracks during a live DJ session at a major game industry party in Europe. Kyd currently lives and works in New York where he is writing his debut album as artist/DJ, Deftronic.
