Xbox Live Star Wars Battlefront Auto-Update Impressions
September 29th, 2004 (12:00am) - Star Wars Battlefront is easily one of the most enjoyable online multiplayer games available on Xbox Live. Of course, it’s currently one of the most popular as well. Although, the game has some lag issues that detract from the Xbox Live experience. Sometimes these lag issues are minor and at others they make the online portion of the game feel unplayable. I had been hoping that this mandatory auto-update would remedy these issues but unfortunately, as I have just learned, that is not the case. In fact, this automatic update hasn’t done much, if anything at all and that which I’ve personally experienced are new difficulties when connecting to hosts through the Quick Match option. For at least ten minutes I couldn’t connect to a single-one and hadn’t been able at all. Well, at least Opti Match is still functioning.
If this auto-update has done anything, it’s cause more issues with the game on Xbox Live.
