Create Your Own Comic Book Hero for Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich Contest
October 2nd, 2004 (12:00am) - Irrational Games, the award-winning developer of System Shock 2 and Tribes: Vengeance today announced that the dedicated website for Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich, http://www.freedomfans.com/, is recruiting one new champion of justice via the “Calling All Heroes” contest. Now, fans of Freedom Force can be part of the highly-celebrated Irrational development team by creating their own comic book hero. The winning character will be immortalized in the much-anticipated title, Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich, and the creator’s name will also be included in the end credits.
“Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich takes the series into the golden age with a host of new characters,” said Ken Levine, General Manager and Creative Director of Irrational Games. “Now anyone can get in the Nazi-punching action by creating his or her very own character for the game.” Scheduled to ship in March 2005, Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich is the sequel to 2002’s Freedom Force. A comic book-inspired tactical role-playing game, Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich features a brand new league of heroes and villains, an overhauled combat system, and spectacular graphic enhancements.
