New Scaler Screen-shots

October 14th, 2004 (3:06pm) - On October 26th, for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube, Global Star Software will ship Scaler to retails shelves. Scaler is a family friendly platformer that promises a fun gameplay experience no one will be disappointed with. In anticipation of its release, we’ve posted the latest screen-shots below.

The game stars a wise-cracking, 12-year-old Bobby Jenkins. Bobby has stumbled upon his evil next door neighbor’s plot to use a mutant lizard army to destroy the world. Caught, Bobby is zapped by a bizarre bolt of energy and transformed into his shape-shifting alter-ego Scaler. With no way to call for back up, Scaler has to defeat all of his enemies or risk spending the rest of his life in reptile exile.

The game features:

  • Vine-ride at insane speeds to power- up static- electric bomb
    attacks.
  • Take out enemies with your lightening quick tongue, or smack
’em down with your razor sharp claws.
  • Go "Super-Stealth" to blend in with environments and fake-out
    baddies.
  • Take the shape and abilities of five different characters to
    survive obstacles and attacks.
  • Explore 10 huge worlds filled with poisonous plants and
    deadly creatures.
