EA Opens Web Portal for PSP Games
October 18th, 2004 (1:50pm) - Electronic Arts today announced that it has launched a web portal dedicated to its upcoming games for the Sony PSP handheld videogame system. Starting today, players worldwide can learn about EA’s launch line-up, game features and gain insight from the development team by visiting www.psp.ea.com.
Designed to serve as a destination for information about the soon-to-be-released games, the web site goes live with details for Need for Speed Underground Rivals and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR - the two titles slated to ship in sync with the system launch in Japan. The site will be continually updated with new screenshots, feature lists, videos, and developer Q&As. Future updates will include details of EA’s additional North American launch titles including NBA Street, NFL Street and others. “Game players worldwide are hungry for information about our PSP games. This site will give game fans a taste of what we have in store,” said Matt Bilbey, Marketing Director of Team Fusion. “Now you can get in the game, even before the games hit shelves.” Reported by Elias Dounis on October 18th, 2004 (1:50pm) [From: GamersMark Network]
