Judge Dredd Back on Track for a November Release
October 28th, 2004 (12:42pm) - Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death had been originally scheduled for release for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and PC in March 2004. However, the original publisher of the game, Evolved Games, magically vanished from the face of the earth and developer Rebellion was left in search of a new publisher. Today, Bam! Entertainment announced that they have now acquired the publishing duties for the upcoming Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death. The game will see a release on November 23rd and is rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB. "In this new first-person shooter, Judge Dredd, the comic book and movie hero, comes to life like never before," said Len Ciciretto, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Bam!. "This first-person shooter with this great license will offer gamers all the action, weapons and effects they crave with a unique comic-book style element at a great value price."
