October 29^th, 2004 (4:02pm) - It’s been awhile since we’ve provided readers with Japanese software sales, so we’ve decided to revive the once popular news feature.

As you can see from these latest charts straight from Japan, Namco’s Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War has made its debut at the top of the charts, selling 173,216 in its first week of release. Following it are the Game Boy Advance’s Mawaru Made in Wario and Pokemon Emerald. Interestingly, despite being of North American origin, Burnout 3: Takedown has managed to perform well in Japan, coming in at No. 6 with 44,535 units sold since its debut.
