November 2^nd, 2004 (10:40pm) - Atari has announced that TimeGate Studios’ Axis & Allies (A&A) has shipped to retailers nationwide for the PC platform.

Axis & Allies recreates the entirety of WWII in an epic RTS that sets a new benchmark in the genre. A&A provides players with the opportunity to lead massive armies into battle, undertake alternate history campaigns that play out against the backdrop of WWII, and play exciting multiplayer games. With each battle fought in real-time, comes the opportunity to revise history itself.

Axis & Allies is rated "T" for Teen and will be available for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
