Climax In Search of Publisher for Next Gen Game Title
November 3rd, 2004 (11:12am) - Climax Group, an independent videogame developer responsible for the Xbox RPG Sudeki, has announced that they will be showcasing a playable version of their next-generation vehicle-based shooter named Avalon to a select group of executives at U.S. publishing houses. "Climaxs ability to self-fund the prototype has produced huge strides in development which has allowed Avalon to be fully playable before the game is even presented to publishers", states Tony Beckwith, president, Climax. Set in the near future, Avalon is a fast-paced, action-packed game that challenges players to battle for world domination. At its heart lies a compelling mixture of intense shooting and high-speed driving action. The game plans on taking advantage of the multiplayer capabilities of next generation of home consoles by providing online multiplayer and is being developed using the companys own toolset named "Tomcat."
