Official Metroid Prime 2 Website Launches
November 12th, 2004 (11:53am) - Nintendo of America has finally launched the official website for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and after spending a good twenty minutes at the site, I can personally say that it’s without a doubt Nintendo’s best effort yet. That says a lot considering that the company’s recent effort with the Nintendo DS website is pretty trendy and interesting as well.
At this Metroid Prime 2 website, users can play around with different visors, going from room to room, scanning objects and obtain downloadable goodies including wallpapers, music, Instant Messaging icons, desktop icons, a screensaver, and even a Metroid Prime 2 Windows Media Player skin. Of course, the website also gives players a closer look into the game with tons of videos and information about the game, including Dark Samus, the Luminoth, the Warrior Ing, and various items that are featured in the game, such as the Dark Visor and Screw Attack. Metroid fans should definitely check this site out by clicking here. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, the highly anticipated sequel to one of the greatest games of all time (Metroid Prime), will be hitting retail shelves next week (Nov. 16) for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
