November 15^th, 2004 (7:58pm) - After last week’s announcement of Nintendo DS pre orders exceeding 2 million units, Nintendo has revealed that they will prepare a third production site in China in attempt to meet the amount of Nintendo DS pre orders made.

To prevent further demand issues Nintendo has told many Japanese retailers to stop taking pre orders for the platform altogether. While many stores have followed these orders, in-store pre orders only are being allowed in a handful of game retailers.

The Nintendo DS will see a release in North America on Nov. 21st with a Japanese launch following on Dec. 2nd.
