PS2 Demo Disc Erases Memory Card Saves
November 20th, 2004 (12:09am) - Sony Computer Entertainment America and Capcom have issued, to PlayStation Underground members, a statement about a glitch found in the recently released Holiday 2004 Demo Disc that deletes saves on memory cards.
It seems that the playable demo of Viewtiful Joe 2 found on the disc contains a glitch that will erase all of the save files from the memory cards inserted into the console at the time. SCE is suggesting that players should remove memory cards from the console if wanting to play the demo of the game. SCEA apologizes for the inconvenience this may have caused (like that helps?). Thanks goes to Adam Bishop for the heads up. Reported by Elias Dounis on November 20th, 2004 (12:09am) [From: GamersMark Network]
