Nintendo Unveils Three New GameCube Games; Screenshots Included
November 24th, 2004 (12:57pm) - Following the release of the new Legend of Zelda screenshots last night, Nintendo Co., Ltd. has released screens of other upcoming GameCube titles which had, up to this point, not been known of. These titles are Donkey Konga 3, Mario Baseball, and a new Kirby adventure.
While the second Donkey Konga has not yet reached North American shores, thanks to the success of the series in Japan, Namco is at it again with a third title. In this game, Funky Kong makes an appearance and aside from this players can expect to play new songs. Mario Baseball is yet another Mario Sports spin-off, most likely being developed by Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and Mario Power Tennis developer Camelot Software. With all these spin-offs Im sure fans are starting a bit tired of Nintendos gimmicks. And as for this Kirby adventure, we hear that it is being developed by Super Smash Bros. Melee developer HAL Labs, and unlike their previous Kirby game, Kirby Air Ride, this 3d side-scrolling adventure promises to deliver the classic Kirby gameplay fans know and love. Enjoy the screens!
