Dragon Quest VIII Sells 2.2 Million in Two Days
 November 30th, 2004 (12:21pm) - According to Media Create, at just two details of retail, Dragon Quest VIII for the PlayStation 2 has sold 2.2 million units in Japan, become another one of Square Enix’s fastest selling games. In anticipation of this sales storm, the Japanese game giant had initially shipped 3 million units of the game.
Dragon Quest VIII is scheduled to launch in North America, under the Dragon Warrior brand, in summer of 2005 and is promising to deliver one of the most satisfying role-playing experiences to ever grace the PlayStation 2.
