Online Mode Cut from Rise of Kasai

December 4th, 2004 (11:32am) - Sony Computer Entertainment America has revealed that Rise of Kasai, the anticipated sequel to the cult PlayStation 2 favorite The Mark of Kri, will no longer feature the once-planned cooperative online multiplayer mode, which is intact for the game’s offline component. All online components have been cut from the game.

No specific details have been revealed on why developer Bottle Rocket decided to cut the mode from the game, but history has proven with Gran Turismo 4 that time constraints are most likely the reason.

Rise of the Kasai is scheduled for a release in early 2005.
