December 9^th, 2004 (12:31am) - Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo series is known to deliver the best sim racing experience around. Of course, that statement is debatable, however, no one can deny that the latest installment in the series, Gran Turismo 4, pushes the PlayStation 2 to technical lengths that none knew existed. Showcasing the game’s visual prowess is this massive batch of screens we’ve uploaded of the game in action.

Gran Turismo 4 was originally promised to feature an extensive online multiplayer mode, but unfortunately the feature was stripped from the current version of the game and despite this unfortunate situation, the game still promises the best sim racing experience around.

Gran Turismo 4 is scheduled for a Dec. 28th release in Japan, with a North American and PAL release scheduled for early 2005. The game had been originally scheduled for a North American release in time for the holiday season.
