Mario and the Crew Shoot Hoops
 December 13th, 2004 (11:29pm) - Many readers and the staff here at GamersMark like to joke around about what the next Mario spin-off will be. Will we see Mario Soccer? Mario Hockey? Mario Rugby? With games like Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Power Tennis, and the upcoming Mario Baseball, it’s a good possibility that Nintendo may indeed pursue other "Mario Sports" spin-offs. Well, today we can confirm that Mario and other characters from the Mushroom Kingdom will make an appearance in a basketball game, however, it’s not what you think.
According to leaked box art of the GameCube version of NBA Street Vol.. 3, Mario and the gang will make an appearance in the game. Specific details haven’t revealed but we hope to learn more within the next few days. NBA Street. Vol 3 will see a release on February 8th, 2005 for the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
