The Matrix Going Online in Spring
December 15th, 2004 (12:52am) - Sega and Warner Bros. have announced that The Matrix Online will now be available sometime in Spring 2005. The game had been previously scheduled for a release on January 18th, 2005, however, in an effort to make the game the best it can be, the game has been delayed.
"We are committed to quality games and making this the best possible experience for players," said Jason Hall, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "Since this is our first MMOG, we are taking measured steps to ensure it will be polished and are investing additional resources into our community oriented initiatives." In similar news, Warner Bros. has revealed that they have partnered with DC comics to produce a "fanzine" based on The Matrix Online. The Matrix Online will be available sometime in Spring 2005 for a retail price of $49.99 and will carry a monthly fee of $14.99.
