December 17^th, 2004 (2:20pm) - After Acclaim filed for bankruptcy, developer Juice Games had acquired a new publisher for their highly anticipated street racer Juiced and found one in the form of THQ. Juiced had been on the eve of release before Acclaim shut its doors and a few early reviews of the game had many positive things to say, however, when THQ acquired the publishing rights the game, Juiced had gotten pushed back into 2005 for a May release. Luckily, this delay may prove for a better gameplay experience because developer Juice Games has gone back to make some enhancements to the game, including additional cars and tracks, numerous gameplay and visual enhancements.

"THQ is extremely excited to be entering into a long term relationship with Juice Games, as the global publisher for the keenly awaited street racer, Juiced," said Peter Dille, Senior Vice President, worldwide marketing, THQ. "With the additional time we’ve allocated to the title, we’re certain that Juiced will excite gamers across the globe even more than originally anticipated."

Juiced will be available for the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in May of 2005. In support of the launch of the title, THQ plans to roll out a highly effective and significant global marketing and PR campaign, which is expected to be augmented by a playable demo on all three platforms, prior to the launch of the game.
