Lawsuit Filed Against the Creators of The Guy Game

December 21st, 2004 (2:27pm) - The Sun Herald is reporting that a 17 year old girl who is being identified as "Jane Doe" had been photographed topless and included in the retail versions of The Guy Game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Because she is not yet of age, a lawsuit has been filed against the creators of The Guy Game, which are Top Heavy Studios and Gathering of Developers.

The photograph of the underage girl were taken during Spring Break at South Padre Island. Despite allowing the photographs to be taken, the lawsuit states that the "plaintiff is still a teenager and wishes to attend college, develop her career and be active in her community and church." One must wonder, though, how showing her breasts could prevent her from doing such things.

The Guy Game is a trivia videogame released earlier this year whose main attraction are images of topless girls in outfits that leave little to the imagination. Many have labeled the game as an "interactive" videogame version of Girls Gone Wild.

A judge granted a temporary restraining order prohibiting Microsoft, Sony, and others from selling any of the games which used the girl’s image, voice, and name.
