Reebok Advertisements in EA Videogames

December 23rd, 2004 (12:49pm) - Reebok has signed a sponsorship agreement with third-party publisher Electronic Arts to advertise their sports gear and products in EA videogames. This is a multi-title agreement with the first game affected by it being NFL Street 2.

The specific terms of deal have not yet been disclosed, however, what we do know is that Reebok product advertisements will be featured heavily throughout NFL Street 2, including billboard advertisements and on the feet of the game’s players. The game will even include previews of upcoming Reebok products.

EA has been known to include advertisements in their videogames for their own upcoming game products and food chains such as Burger King and McDonald’s, clothing companies and even cell phone manufacturers.

NFL Street 2 is scheduled for a release the day after Christmas in North America for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube.
