Bugs in WarioWare Touched!
December 23rd, 2004 (1:56pm) - Today, Nintendo of Japan issued a statement that confirms the existence of bugs in the Japanese version of WarioWare Touched! for the Nintendo DS. Interestingly enough, these errors are only experienced on a handful of Nintendo DS units that play the game, not necessarily each copy of the game available.
"We thoroughly inspect our products prior to shipment, but we could not recognize the issues since they happen when played with a fraction of the units", Nintendo issued in the statement. "We hope to increase our effort to make sure problems do not occur in the future." For users in Japan experiencing these bugs, Nintendo will offer to replace the copies of the game on Dec. 24th free of charge. All three mini-game bugs exist on the Kat and Ana stage and are described below: Ma-me Denkyuu (Miniature Light Bulb) The player is supposed to draw cords to connect a light bulb to a battery, but the cords cant be drawn. Douka-sen (Fuse) The player is supposed to draw a fuse between a bomb to a fire source, but the fuse cant be drawn. Kurai Heya (Dark Room) The player is supposed to find a man hiding in a dark room by shining him with a flashlight for a certain amount of time, but the flashlight keeps blinking and the game cant be completed.
