Too Much Pokémon in 2005
December 30th, 2004 (4:27pm) - Tsunekazu Ishihara of the Pokémon Company and Junichi Mazuda of developer Game Freak have announced that 2005 will be a big year for the Pokémon franchise.
The two re-confirmed the existence of the upcoming Pokémon RPG for the GameCube and the Nintendo DS Pokémon RPGs, Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. As expected, these Nintendo DS Pokémon games will attempt to utilize the dual-screened handhelds stylus and touch screen features. In addition, they also revealed that the Game Boy Advance will also receive a new Pokémon game, however, details regarding what that game could possibly be are scarce. Topping off their announcements is the revelation of a Pokemon themed amusement park that will open in 2005 in Nagoya, Japan and that another Pokémon animated film is in development.
