January 11^th, 2005 (10:53am) - The Adventure Company has announced that they will be publishing House of Tales’ The Moment of Silence in North America for the PC.

The Moment of Silence is a traditional point-and-click adventure along the lines of LucasArts classics Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle. Set in NYC in the year 2044, in the game players are put into the shoes of Peter Wright, a PR executive for the United States government’s "freedom of speech" campaign that hopes to make all written information available to the public and government. However, as Peter stays at his apartment thinking about the project and his family troubles, a SWAT team breaks into his neighbor’s apartment. Peter then decides to examine the situation and what he soon discovers changes his views on modern life forever.

The Moment of Silence is easily one of the most entertaining adventure games released in recent times. How do I know this?
