Xenosaga Series Loses One of its Key Writers
January 19th, 2005 (11:56pm) - Soraya Saga (a.k.a. Kaori Tanaka) has revealed through her own web log that she will not be returning to work on the script for the third game in the Xenosaga series.
"At present, I am no longer involved with the Xenosaga series," she stated. "A couple of years ago, the new team had decided to refresh the series. Simply, I was neither one of the people invited nor on the boarding list of the new voyage. This site will not provide further information about this." Saga, together with her husband Tetsuya Takahashi, has written the scripts for such games as Xenogears, Xenosaga, Xenosaga Episode II, and Xenosaga: Pied Piper (a side story created for cell phones).
