The handheld installment of Mario Party has finally made its debut and unsurprisingly at the No. 1 spot as Mario Party Advance tops of charts this week as Gran Turismo 4 continuing to sell strong, possibly selling through 1 million units by the end of the month.

Surprise, surprise true believers! The PlayStation Portable is selling strong in 2005 as it finally surpasses the Nintendo DS this week by approx. 9,000 units. Along with the PS2, Sony had the upper hand in hardware sales this week as both their platforms top off the charts. Until Nintendo starts pumping out new software thats actually worth buying for the Nintendo DS, expect Sonys attractive handheld to gain even more momentum in the passing weeks.
