A handful of new releases invaded Japanese retailers this week and topping off the sales charts is Capcom’s Monster Hunter G for the PS2.

Hardware
For the second week in a row the PSP has outsold Nintendo’s dual-screened handheld. Not only this, but the PSP has topped this week’s PS2 hardware sales. While Nintendo president Satoru Iwata believes that consumers won’t want to play games on PSP systems, consumers are proving him dead wrong.
