Kingdom Under Fire sequel in the works
February 5th, 2005 (12:07am) - Publisher Phantagram has announced that a sequel to Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders is in development for the Xbox. Its sequel is being called Kingdom Under Fire: Heroesm and is once again being developed by Blueside and directed Henry Lee, the man who headed the development of the previous Xbox game. Heroes will feature seven new characters, each of whom will feature their own unique combat styles and moves and will take advantage of Xbox Live by adding new gameplay modes, including co-op battles.
The game has not been officially dated, but we expect to see it released in North America and Europe later this year. Phantagram has also revealed that it plans on announcing a new Kingdom Under Fire videogame for a next-generation platform or platforms; an Xbox 2 release is likely.
