Capcom working on two new classic collections
February 5th, 2005 (12:56am) - Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the PS2 and GameCube faired very well in sales during 2004 and Capcom plans on capitalizing on the success of the compilation by announcing yet another Mega Man collection, this time including games from their extremely popular Mega Man X series in what’s simply being called Mega Man X Collection.
Details regarding the games being included and the platforms that its scheduled to appear on are scarce, although during the press event in which Capcom revealed the title, a film strip of the games that may be included featured some brief footage of the game Mega Man Battle and Chase, which is a Mega Man-based kart racer that appeared on the original PlayStation in Japan only. In addition to Mega Man X Collection, Capcom announced that it will also be released a "classics" collection that is expected to feature many games from Capcom’s large library of classic arcade games and original home console titles, including Bionic Commando and Final Fight. As with Mega Man X Collection, the information regarding the platforms of development, featured games, and scheduled release date is unavailable at the current time.
