Xbox version of Doom 3 and PC Expansion delayed
February 7th, 2005 (9:49pm) - Activision has revealed that the highly anticipated Xbox version of Doom 3 and its expansion for the PC, Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, have been delayed into the 2006 fiscal year, which begins on April 1st, 2005. The reason behind this delay is to simply up their earnings for that fiscal year since the company has already surpassed their sales expectations for the 2005 fiscal year.
"The company also increased its outlook for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2005 to $150 million in net revenues from $128 million, despite moving id Softwares Doom 3 for the Xbox and the Doom 3 PC expansion pack to fiscal 2006," said Activision CEO Ronald Doornink.
