February 18^th, 2005 (10:46pm) - Nintendo of America’s official website has updated with 11 new screenshots of Another Code for the Nintendo DS. Developed by CING, Another Code is an adventure game that hopes to enthrall gamers with an entertaining plot and classic PC adventure gameplay.

In Another Code players step into the shoes of a thirteen-year old named Ashley who’s on an adventure to solve the mystery surrounding the death of her mother Sayako and the disappearance of her father Richard... Both of her parents were researchers at a government lab and were involved with the creation of a "Another," a mysterious device created by the government organization. Ashley will travel to Brad Edward Island to investigate the matter.

As you may have expected, the game will utilize the Nintendo DS’ stylus to solve many of the game’s puzzles. The top screen will solve these puzzles when encountered, while the bottom screen will show Ashley moving around her 3D environments.

Another Code was recently reviewed by Japan’s Famitsu magazine and was received very well by the publication’s critics, receiving a 9, 10, 8, 8 from each one of the game’s reviewers, earning a total of 36/40.

Because of that fact that Nintendo of America released these new images it’s possible that Another Code may indeed make its way to North America. Our fingers are crossed.
