Konami hosting NanoBreaker internet ranking contest

February 23rd, 2005 (12:18am) - Konami is hosting a NanoBreaker Internet ranking contest to coincide with the game’s recent release in North America. Fans of the futuristic sci-fi game for the PS2 will have the opportunity to show off their plasma wielding prowess and potentially win exciting prizes. In order to enter the competition, players must be seventeen years of age and older and have completed the game once in order to unlock the NanoBreaker Splatter Mode. Players must use one or more of the first eight Splatter Mode stages to enter the contest.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a “plasma” television. Other prizes include a copy of NanoBreaker signed by Koji Igarashi, the developer of the game and the producer of the legendary Castlevania series, Electronics Boutique gift cards and NanoBreaker T-shirts.

The contest will begin on March 1st and will last until March 15th, 2005. For more information and official rules, please visit the NanoBreaker website at: www.konami.com/gs/nanobreaker.

*Please note: Only the U.S. version of the game will generate valid passwords and will be allowed to participate in the competition. Contest only valid in the U.S.
