Nintendo offers replacements for Play-Yan blunder
February 23rd, 2005 (1:13am) - Nintendos "Play-Yan" multimedia player has finally arrived for those who ordered the device online from Nintendo in Japan. However, just shortly after its release, Nintendo sent out an e-mail to those who purchased the item saying that they have discovered that the Play-Yan outputs sound in reverse through its headphone jack, with the left channel coming out of the right headphone and vice versa.
Nintendo will be offering replacement Play-Yans for everyone who purchased the device that will be available as early as March 5th.
