2K Games to distribute Ford Racing 3 in North America
February 23rd, 2005 (1:04pm) - 2K Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Empire Interactive to distribute Ford Racing 3 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC in North America. The first two titles of the Ford Racing series, which were also distributed by Take-Two, sold over 1 million units in North America.
Ford Racing 3 features 55 Ford automobiles, including Ford GTs, Thunderbirds, concept and SVT vehicles, Mustangs and trucks; 26 detailed tracks with interactive scenery; 11 different race types and support for online play on Xbox Live; LAN and online play for PC and head-to-head split screen on PS2 and Xbox. Ford Racing 3 will be released in North America in March 2005 for a suggested retail price of $14.99. Ford Racing 3 is developed by Empire Interactive under license by Ford Motor Company.
