SOCOM 3 official
February 23rd, 2005 (2:10pm) - Sony Computer Entertainment of America has officially confirmed the existence of SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy Seals at a press conference that is still commencing as you read this. SOCOM 3 is once again being developed by Zipper Interactive and is scheduled to see a release this fall exclusively for the PS2.
SOCOM 3 will now support the use of vehicles and feature levels that are said to be roughly six times the size of those seen in the previous game. The locations featured in the game in this highly anticipated sequel includes Morocco, Poland and Bangladesh. In addition to featuring improved enemy AI, SOCOM 3 will also allows players to take a dive into water and swim, should they need to do so. Well have more information on the game as it comes.
