February 26th, 2005 (2:51am) - Software
Software for the PlayStation 2 dominates the Media Create sales charts for the week of February 14th as Devil May Cry 3 makes its debut in the number one spot with last weeks chart topper, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, tailing it in second place as it breaks half a million units sold. Unfortunately, the GameCubes Resident Evil 4 has dropped out of the top ten, while the high profile Gran Turismo 4 gets a few inches closer to selling one million units in Japan alone.

Hardware
After tailing the PSP for a few weeks, the PlayStation 2 has finally jumped back to the top of the sales charts, however for the sixth week in a row, the PSP has outsold Nintendos DS. Is this a sign of Sonys coming handheld dominance? Or is it a sign of Nintendos poor marketing and release date scheduling? You make the decision.
