Grigsby’s World at War goes gold

February 28th, 2005 (4:59pm) - Matrix Games and 2 By 3 Games announced today that Gary Grigsby’s World at War has officially “gone gold.” The game is due for final release in March.

Gary Grigsby’s World at War takes you through four World War II scenarios where five playable powers battle across thirty-eight different countries with fifteen different unit types. Each unit type has up to fourteen attributes, which you can upgrade through research of new technology during the war. Rules cover everything from strategic movement to cold weather, nuclear weapons, and even deal with managing supply lines in the advanced mode of the game. Included in World at War is challenging AI, Play-by-Email capability, and two tutorials for those who need help with learning about the game.
