GDC: Reggie Speaks on Revolution, Online Plans, and More
March 9th, 2005 (11:46pm) - This year marks the first year for Nintendo of Americas executive vice president of sales and marketing Reggie Fils-Aimes attendance to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, and hes made quite a splash.
IGN has conducted an interview with the Big Man from the Big N, and hes said a number of surprising things. While page one of the interview starts off sounding typically Nintendo (i.e. vague, secretive), and he mentioned that Mario 128 may, or may not be moved to the Revolution. However, on page two of this discussion, Reggie lets some heavy information loose that was previously unconfirmed. Confirmation that the Nintendo DS is going on line was made, near confirmation about the Revolution being online was touched upon, and other surprising remarks were made as well. This interview is a must read for any Nintendo fan, or fan of gaming, and it shows signs that the company could be loosening up a bit when it comes to holding their secrets so closely.
