SCi Entertainment to bid on Eidos
March 21st, 2005 (10:38am) - The Sunday Telagraph is reporting that UK games publisher and developer SCi Entertainment may make an eleventh-hour bid to acquire Eidos Interactive, the home of the popular Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain, and Hitman franchises.
It is being rumored that SCi may lead to a formal bid for Eidos later this week However, SCi is not the only party interested in acquiring Eidos. It is said that other interested parties include Elevation Partners and Francisco Partners, the US venture capital firms, and third-party games giant Ubisoft.
