Soul Calibur III PS2 Exclusive
March 22nd, 2005 (9:54am) - The newest issue of GamePro has unveiled the highly anticipated Soul Calibur III from Namco. To the shock and dismay of many GameCube and Xbox owners, the issue reveals that Soul Calibur III will appearing exclusively on the PlayStation 2 and will feature the following: The ability to create your own fighters (determine sex, weapon type, etc... and even their occupation) Battle through the ranks with your created fighter in "World Competition mode" Other modes include Soul Arena and Museum, which allows you to view the history of the franchise, "including Soul Calibur II"Soul Calibur III is scheduled for a Fall 2005 release. Readers should take note that the PS2 version of Soul Calibur II sold worst out of the three console versions available (with the GameCube version selling best).
