Game Savant launches free service for savvy gamers
March 24th, 2005 (1:18pm) - The newly formed company, Game Savant, announced today that phase one of their three-part rollout has begun. In today’s world it takes a full time employee to try and review new games before you purchase them, but they only cover the big ones. What about all the wonderfully innovative independent games out there? Phase one of Game Savant is to take the month’s best releases and bring their playable demos via CD to your doorstep, free.
Every month a CD packed with great new releases, hot off the press, will be delivered right to your door. By taking the time to hand select and review the independent game world’s best releases, Game Savant promises to give you a selection of the absolute best. Their promise is simple: To bring you games that are free from spyware, malware, or adware that represent the absolute best in independent gaming. That’s not all Game Savant is promising to offer though. Phase two of their plan will soon be unveiled to deliver content via download, should you be too impatient to wait for your CD or enjoy the freedom of high speed internet. The real deal will be in phase three though, where Game Savant will launch a service that will track your preferences and make the best game recommendations for you! Similar to Amazon.com’s technology, Game Savant will ensure that you are not only getting the hottest new games, but that you receive those hottest new games in the game genres you enjoy most. Interested developers can get their products on Game Savant by contacting devrel@gamesavant.com for more information. Stay tuned to www.gamesavant.com and sign up to begin receiving free CDs of this month’s hottest games! From Reflexive Arcade to Joe Indie’s Garage, Game Savant promises to bring you the absolute best in independent gaming. Reported by Elias Dounis on March 24th, 2005 (1:18pm) [From: Press Release]
