March 30th, 2005 (1:17am) - Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s executive VP of sales and marketing, spoke with New York-based CBS Marketwatch’s Marcella Palmer about the Nintendo DS and Sony’s entrance into the handheld videogame market with PlayStation Portable. The brief interview cane be viewed in full by clicking here.

Although new information had not been revealed, Mr. Fils-Aime shows fans, once again, that he may indeed be the personality Nintendo needs in order to create a successful future for the company. Fils-Aime clearly states Nintendo’s goals in taking videogames in new directions with unique technologies. He also states that the Nintendo DS has become a tremendous success for the company with over 2 million units of the handheld sold in North America since its launch last November.
