"Castlevania DS" Given Official Name for Japan
April 7th, 2005 (1:03am) - Retail sources in Japan have revealed that Konami will be calling Castlevania DS "Akumajou Dracula: Sougetsu no Juujika" for its Japanese release. This roughly translates to "Castlevania: The Cross of the Blue Moon."
The name "Akumajou Dracula" was last used in 1997 for "Akumajou Dracula X: Gekka no Yasoukyoku," which is known as the great Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the PlayStation in North America.
