Rumor: Three Games from Activision for Next-Gen Xbox Launch
April 10th, 2005 (12:52pm) - Various game websites are reporting that Activision has leaked information to retailers that they will have three games ready for the launch of the next-gen Xbox: Ultimate Spider-Man, Quake IV and Tony Hawks Underground 3.
Unfortunately, Activision has not confirmed the existence of any of these games for the next-gen Xbox. However, we do know that Ultimate Spider-Man is in development for multiple platforms and it indeed is no surprise to see yet another extreme skateboarding videogame featuring Tony Hawk. In regards to Quake IV, Ids John Camack had confirmed Quake VI was in development for the PC at last summers Quake Con. So, its appearance on the next-gen Xbox is a possibility. In addition to these games, Activision has confirmed in the past that True Crime: Streets of H.K. will be appearing on the next-gen Xbox.
